The time period ranging from late 1960s and the early 1970s can be considered one of the most crucial periods in the history and evolution motor sport. Innovative technologies are being developed and tested in daily road races and the world seemed to be enthralled by these wonderful machines new and elegant come to the worlds greatest racing events to display these new technologies and found the man and take the machine to new thresholds each time who turned a wheel. The Le Mans 24 hours race at the French camp every summer for a long time the race for the men and machines for its new talent show and technology. The operation of the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans was to represent the high water mark of this period empirical racing like no other race could get to do.

The FIA had established several new sporting groups for race cars through the 1960s and his efforts to lay the groundwork for what become a showdown of epic proportions tuetonic that would set two companies, Porsche and Ferrari, in a crash of all time of the battle of two titans type of the great sports racing machines roaring forever by the Mulsanne Right. Porsche weapon of choice would be 917K, a tubular space frame chassis with 580 twelve horsepower engine mounted flat in the middle of the vessels in the frame and a weight of 800kg. The great Enzo Ferrari were undeterred by this marvel of speed and German engineering, and responded with the construction of the Ferrari 512M, an elegant red warhorse to the heart of Italy with a powerful 620 horsepower V-12 engine mounted longitudinally behind driver's cab and a weight of 930kg. Since the days of the Nordic gods roamed the earth had the world seen incredible weapons forged to enter into a form battle like no other.

Along with many other changes to the rules and regulations for the final season of Formula One 2009, using a kinetic energy recovery (KERS) is permitted. This allows drivers to get a momentary boost of speed, once activated by a special button on the steering wheel.

The system works by special flywheel technology to capture kinetic energy from the power line transmission, as it slows. Then takes this energy and put it back into the driveline through a CVT system Torotrak to accelerate. The FIA has limited the use of the system 400 KJ per turn, which gives drivers using this system an extra 85 horsepower for a period of 6.67 seconds at any point in which they consider would help them the race.

However, not all computers are using the KERS, including GP Brawn, since it affects various crucial aspects of their cars, which are listed below:

Weight distribution: KERS system weighs about 30 kg, and must be placed in the rear of the car. There is a minimum weight limit of a Formula One car One in 605 kg including the driver. Ideally, teams of building the car much lighter, and then add the ballast weights to certain areas of car to improve weight distribution. Because the KERS is quite heavy, which really can change the car's weight distribution, this in turn makes the car is not handling as well as designed. This is one of the main reasons why the GP Brawn does not use the KERS system.

Another reason why teams like GP Brawn prevent KERS package is that when the system is deployed, greatly affects the handling of a car, so it is only suitable for straight line speed.

Brawn With the results of GP after his first race this season, in fact indicates that they have made the right decision not to use energy kinetics of recovery systems.

SPEED commentators Where dissemination of F-1?

I know everyone uses the FIA world feed or receive video and race replays Formula 1, but where Bob Varsha and dissemination of the crew? I know that Peter Windsor is in person at the track, but I would think that broadcast principal is made in the U.S. (where the live commentators.) Also … Do they have control over some repetitions (such as cutting back commercial) or are at the mercy food?

They are in velocity studies, I believe in Charlotte, North Carolina. I limited repetitions. The world has no power cuts trade so if something happens while they are in business can be the same.

How IndyCars compare with Formula 1 racing cars in terms of speed, weight, handling?

F1 cars are more Quick, do not stop the acceleration in any of its tracks. Its carbon-carbon brakes are also phenomenal compared to steel brakes Indy cars, an Indy car on a course of F1 would not have brakes after a few corners. Power is believed to be similar around 750 hp, this is reasonably safe for Indy, but only is rumored to F1. F1 Next year is looking closer to 800hp and 2010 more or less, with braking energy recovery units and overload energy, which is expected to be back up to 1100 hp again, not that far short of the 1400 hp turbo cars of the '80s.

Sincerely, I hope Lewis. Fernando hate so you do not want him to win. I wish Kimi could win, but that would be a miracle. Lewis has been the strongest this season and although recent weeks have been a bit of a struggle, I think it can succeed.

Well, today we saw a Moto GP race, which everyone around the world the idea would be impossible to overcome. And it could have been, perhaps. The F1 Grand Prix of Canada, known their careers by entertaining and full of incidents, the height of the reputation and beyond all. Lewis Hamilton won the race, but that’s the end …

In one race there were four – yes four – Car safety, many people in the “wall of champions” as well as other walls, two drivers to get black marking and much more. Let’s start with the principle, the grid:

 1) Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) 2) Fernando Alonso (McLaren) 3) Nick Heidfeld (BMW) 4) Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) 5) Felipe Massa (Ferrari) 6) Mark Webber (Red Bull) 7) Nico Rosberg (Williams) 8) Robert Kubica (BMW) 9) Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault) 10) Jarno Trulli (Toyota)

 11) Takuma Sato (Super Aguri) 12) Tonio Liuzzi (Toro Rosso) 13) Rubens Barrichello (Honda) 14) David Coulthard (Red Bull) 15) Jenson Button (Honda) 16) Scott Speed (Toro Rosso)

 17) Anthony Davidson (Super Aguri) 18) Ralf Schumacher (Toyota) 19) Alex Wurz (Williams) 20) Adrian Sutil (Spyker) 21) Christijan Albers (Spyker) 22) Heikki Kovalainen (Renault)

First incident goes to Mr. Fernando Alonso, each and every one hopes to keep the head and use his experience to take the race away from his younger companion in crime. Unfortunately, however, Alonso had the opportunity and tried to pass Hamilton on the outside of a corner in the first round and just did not work with Fernando getting very hot and have to take the historic first trip across the grass at the first corner. Alonso managed to run through almost the same piece of grass four times in the same race, time to lose the position again and again and having to additional lost time because of the illegally cut as the safety car was coming out of an incident. Despite of these five incidents Alonso was directly implicated that cost him time, not only do not end in an accident and to withdraw from the race, but actually managed to finish seventh. There was another incident involving striking Alonso – who was adopted in normal race Takuma Sato (who finished sixth) in a Super Aguri!

Too many incidents to list in one article, but one that definitely needs highlighting. Robert Kubica crashed in a spectacular accident, and spectacular I mean the fact that he left the hospital the next day with nothing more than a sprained ankle and concussion. The accident occurred shortly after that he had obeyed a red light signal at the end of pit lane and waited for the safety car to pass, down the straight with terrifying speed made contact with a Toyota in the fast curve to the left before the hair-pin curve Casino. The accident is basically beyond description, and is a testament to the safety standards in F1 is doing well now and well on its way to recovery.

An incident to keep in mind is the brain-fade suffered so much by Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella. Both seemed to pass Kubica at the exit of the pits, while the light was red – the punishment is a flag that is black and straight. Pack your bags and go home boys.

Only twelve riders reached the final of the race, and their positions were:

1 – Wonderboy Lewis Hamilton started in the first place, keep a cool head when everything collapsed around him, which seemed the most experienced of the pack to chase to drivers

Heidfeld 2 – Nick also kept his head and remained calm throughout the chaos

3 – Alex Wurz

4 – Heikki Kovalainen

5 – Kimi Raikkonen in the quietest part of the career of anyone and does not do much at all

6 – Takuma Sato

7 – Fernando Alonso

8 – Ralf Schumacher

9 – Mark Webber

10 – Nico Rosberg

11 – Anthony Davidson

12 – Rubens Barrichello

NASCAR races are often all day social events. Dressing for race day can be daunting for those wishing to remain both fashionable and comfortable. Use these race day tips to stand out in the crowd and support your favorite driver.

The NASCAR season stretches over most of the year, but more often than not race days tend to be warm. Though many think sundresses are the only option for fashionable summer dressing, there are many fashionable alternatives that offer the same wow factor with a higher degree of comfort. Shorts are back, and designers are offering selections in almost any length, from jaunty to-the-knee clam diggers to barely-there short shorts. Choose a length that works for you and go for a fabric other than the typical denim. Twill shorts give a dressier feel and can be purchased in almost any color imaginable.

While t-shirts in support of a favorite driver remain a top choice at races, thick cotton is not always the best warm weather option. Layering two tank tops in your driver’s colors is a great way to show loyalty and still remain chic and cool. Sun protection is always important when spending the day outside, so consider adding a gauzy long sleeve shirt to your ensemble. It won’t add bulk, but will provide some protection from the sun.

Accessories are the best way to inexpensively customize an outfit for any occasion. Many stores offer racing themed Mardi Gras beads that look great over a race day outfit and can be shared with companions. Hand them out to your friends (both those you came with and those you’ve just met) for a fun memento of your day out.

Don’t forget the sunglasses, both aviators and Audrey Hepburn styles are favorites, and enjoy the race!
