The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is Ferrari’s four seat, two door coupe Grand Tourer. Made for long road trips, while still designed for stylish good looks and packed full of the high performance you would expect from Ferrari.

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is the top of the line, high performance luxury car with all the comfort and luxury Ferrari could pack into the Spaghetti’s 116.1 inch wheelbase. Power and performance is no problem with the Ferrari 612. Powered by the 5.7 liter Ferrari Dino Tipo F116B, V12 engine, producing an amazing 530hp and a top speed of 196mph.

The gearbox is either a manual 6 speed transmission, or the 6 speed F1a semi-automatic transmission, with the paddle shift system which is attached to the steering column and accessed easily as it is located just behind the steering wheel.

Both gear boxes deliver excellent performance and the high performance that Ferrari is known for. Combined with the V12, it delivers an amazing high performance output, and in a four passenger vehicle weighing in at just over 3,800 lbs.

The interior is beautifully appointed with fine leather seating, and sleek, aircraft styled instrumentation. It also provided ample headroom for the two front passengers, and seats two adults quite comfortably in the rear seats.

Ferrari has been producing the 612 Scaglietti since 2004, and has had a few special editions produced such as the 2007 60th Anniversary edition of which only 60 were produced, a special 20 unit production commemorating the 30th anniversary of Cornes & Company importing the Ferrari brand into Japan, and even a Police Unit produced in 2007.

Scaglietti

The mention of Ferrari comes to mind visions of luxury cars, prices through the roof and therefore the exclusive playground of unimaginable wealth. Well, This image would be half right. Ferraris are expensive, but you even buy a Ferrari used may be a way to get behind the wheel of the car you’ve always wanted at a price you can not refuse.

The 612 Scaglietti began life with a price tag of £ 213,000 upwards. Pretty extortion, but what you expect to pay top dollar for the best vehicle for touring over there right? If the 612 is what you want, but you must drop  £ 200,000, try to look around a 2-old model with about 10,000 miles on the odometer, a price tag of £ 110,000 may seem a little more reasonable. If the vehicle is used to care common pitfalls, but the £ 110,000 you still get 5.7 liter V12, the space age style and, finally, that badge.

The 599GTB sports also began life around  £ 200,000 mark. The 599 was extremely popular, drawing most of its technology and engineering than directly from the infamous Enzo Ferrari. The prices used reflect: a model for 2 years with 17,000 on the clock will still be released in a good  £ 150,000. For the best in sports car engineering, however, some may consider this company.

The third model of the current Ferrari range is the “daily” Ferrari California. Exquisite design meets practice, with engineering leading Ferrari built everything. Brand new in 2008 at a cost of approximately £ 170,000 California. Now, if you’re lucky, you find a model in May ’09 with 3000 miles on the odometer around  £ 150,000. However, these models are few and far between in the car market hand, and given the current economic climate, it is likely stay for a while.

However, if the budget is a 6 huge numbers but still has its heart set on a Ferrari, could still be lucky. A 1999 target = “_new” rel = “nofollow” href = “http://www.sytner.co.uk/ferrari/used-cars.aspx”> Used Ferrari F355 with 22,000 miles on the odometer can be captured by around  £ 35,000. Or, in 1995 456GT with about 35,000 miles on the odometer can be captured by the same measure. Clearly, these old cars from more precautions to consider before buying. Ferrari engines athletes been built with performance in mind, as opposed to the robust reliability of 30.000 kilometers. As such, it is expected maintenance costs to be slightly higher than usual. Plus the car ages, Patchi history might be, we must therefore always ensure you have a good rifle through all the documentation that might be. But do not be discouraged. Do your homework – is a good model in good condition, and you could be a winner.

Calling it a vision?

Well, we now have batteries that can perform high-speed, long distance without recharging Cornut why Hybird each car look like it came from the Chevron station or a box of toys Kar Kid. Why should all be so God awful ugly? Yes, even the Tesla. Personally, I think it resembles a kind of deception Best Mazda or a BMW @ / 4, which is not so bad, but still leaves much to desired. Panoz Why not electric or a replica Ferrari 328? We need 4 seats? 12Volt How about a BMW 850 or Duracell 612 Scaglietti, go with it and send the Prius and fit to the hole before you take your little minds to mush as our children.

Hybrid cars are slow. And heavy. If you want a car Hybrid looks clean, and then buy the car and make a hybrid or electric. Companies in high performance cars are not interested in this market, because most people would never be interested in a Ferrari which has the additional weight of 10 batteries. These machines are balanced performance – and Arent single hybrid. They have a small narrow tires for minimum drag, and aerodynamic models ugly. I think trying to save the environment has a cost.
